Danu's Druantia Bringin' Ya Mor

About My Name

Druantia is the Celtic Goddess of fir trees and fertility. Her names derives from the Indo-European root “deru” meaning tree or wood. Also called the Queen of the Druids, Druantia is associated with the fertility of both plants and humans, ruling over sex and passion. She is credited with the creation of the Celtic tree calendar, which divides the year into 13 months that correspond to the cycles of the moon.

Int'l/Nat'l Ch Danu's Druantia Bringin' Ya Mor

Dru earned her IABCA International/National Championship May 31, 2009.

She is now happily retired & looking forward to her pet life with her Dogma Debbie. We're sure she will love her Dogpa Mark too... but she has yet to meet him.

We at Danu Danes could not be any prouder of our little girl, or any happier for her.

Ears look great. We now move to ointment. Next week the cone can be removed. We will be using the quick brace system.

Ear Cropping

Dru will be showing in Junior Showmanship with our daughter, and be our practice dane for learning to owner handle.

Because of this, we wanted to have her ears cropped. We went to see Dr. Frace for the procedure. He is the best in my eyes. He understands about tips, sculpting rather than using a form to follow, bell size, etc.

It looks pretty nasty, and its been a BLAST caring for. :sarcasm: We feel pretty guilty, but know that it will be worth it in the end.
